Nice to see Cramer get the start, he's earned it.

Coen really knows how to work our zone...so much scrambling and tons of open looks

Would hate to have the time and score on the screen. I LOVE paying for games when you have to guess everything.

Not going to win many games if Jalen can't hit jumpers. Hope he sorts it out.

I prefer the old school feel of the score off..and the announcers offHofstra wrote:Would hate to have the time and score on the screen. I LOVE paying for games when you have to guess everything.

Early observations happy Cramer is starting and nothing from Green after he came in missed three shots two close in. We need to take better shots. Kante could have a career game NE hasNO answer for him!!

Excellent last 7 or so minutes of the first half, I know I say the same thing every game but man not having Silverio out there makes a world of difference. The flashes you see from Cramer goes to show how bright of a future he has, keep it up fellas.

46-29 at the break, turned it on to finish off the half. Northeastern seems to be lacking the talent you're used to seeing from them.

The entire first half in just three big runs:
Hofstra started with a 16-6 lead.
Northeastern answered with a 17-6 run (to lead 23-22).
Hofstra closes on a 24-6 run (to lead 46-29 at halftime).
Kante 12 pts, Ray 8, Coburn and Burgess 7 each.

Awful play one turnover after another. I get trying to get the ball to Kante but four other players.

That was a pretty strong statement first half by HU... seemed to take advantage of their youth.
But I don't trust any lead against NU lol, let's see how they handle the 2nd!

Good lord does this announcer need to say “foul line extended” 75 times every possession?

Falling apart here. Northeastern still carving up the zone but now the shots are falling. Playing with panic on the offensive end - poor shot selection, lot of rushed and forced shots, sloppy forced passes.

Sad missing wide open shots.
Re: Game 10 vs. Northeastern, Thursday, 1/7/21 @ 5 PM
Another big run, but for Northeastern... 35-11, to wipe out a 51-32 Hofstra lead, putting the Huskies up, 67-62.Wags wrote:The entire first half in just three big runs:

Now 67-64, NU at the under-4 (3:44).
HU needs a strong close, like the end of the first half. Can't lose this one. Not after being up 19 at home and having to go to NU on Sat.

Can't have a stuck clock at the end of the game though!cactus wrote:I prefer the old school feel of the score off..and the announcers offHofstra wrote:Would hate to have the time and score on the screen. I LOVE paying for games when you have to guess everything.
