I don't follow MBB rankings closely and I know RPI is kind of old school, but this list has St. Bonnie as #1 and Rutgers as #10. We are #44. Richmond is only #89.

It's too bad the NCAA now uses the NET. We're 44th in the RPI and 118th in the NET. UNCW is 59th in the RPI and 297th in NET. I used http://warrennolan.com/basketball/2021/schedule/Hofstra which could be different from CBS. I wish every site could program the RPI formula and enter all the results and sites to make the RPI the same on every site, but that doesn't happen.

I may be old school but I prefer Sagarin...Right now we are by far and away the top ranked CAA team with a 76.07 rating for an overall ranking of 76.07. For comparison purposes Richmond is at 81.38 and ranked 59th.

People could wonder how much home court advantage matters without fans. The Sagarin and its components have home court worth 1.91 or 1.92. Last season it was 3.23, 3.24, or 3.28. The overall decreased from 3.24 to 1.92, which is a decrease of 40.7 percent. If each conference's top Sagarin team got their automatic bid and the NCAA Tournament was seeded by the Sagarin, we have 10 teams below us, which would make us a 14 seed regardless of whether there are 68 teams with six 16 seeds or 64 teams. If you give the ninth through twelfth teams in the overall the 3 seeds and take their mean, we would lose a 3-14 game by 12.67. I think a 14 seed and loss by 13 would make us all happy. We're 29.99 better than Chicago State, who is the worst team.
