Coburn, Green, and Kante are tied for our lead with 8 points. Cramer scored 6, Ray scored 4, Burgess scored 2, Masic missed 1 three and didn't score, and Schutte didn't shoot. Silverio did not play. Coburn and Ray played 18 minutes, and Kante played 15. We had exactly one of Green and Cramer play at all times, so we're doing the same thing as we do with Kante and Schutte. Masic played 7 minutes and subbed for Ray, Coburn, and Burgess. We played 12 of 18 twos, which is two-thirds. Kante led us with 5 rebounds, and Green had 3. Our 17 rebounds were 3 more than Richmond. Ray had 3 assists and Burgess had 1. We had assists on only 4 of 15 field goals. Burgess had 3 turnovers, Kante had 2, and nobody else had any, so we're on pace for only 10. Each team had 2 steals and there weren't any blocks.

Tyler Burton leads Richmond with 9 points, and Grant Golden has 8. Jacon Gilyard has 5 and led all players with 4 assists. He had his only steal 1:32 in, so he's on pace to lower his average that was 4.4. He's the only player on either team to play the whole half. Blake Francis shot field goals 1-5 and free throws 1-4 to score 3. Nathan Cayo made his only shot and scored 2. Connor Crabtree had 4 points off the bench that were all free throws, and he led them with 4 rebounds. He played 12 minutes, which was more than starter Cayo, who committed 2 fouls in the first 6:08 and spent the last 13:52 on the bench.

Missing free throws in a game like this is the kiss of death not to mention Burgess missing the front end of a one and one! Terrible!

Such sloppy ball handling by this team, UR stealing all game long. HU missing a key opp to attack the lane / hoop with Golden sitting - it's there for the taking if they can start handling the rock better.

Here we go!! Wild ride here!

Burgess needs to play a lot better these last 2 min, needs to be more aware, and know that he shouldn't be taking the 3 when Kante is ready in the post - DISH the rock young man!

Did not find them unbiased haha
But they did a nice job

Awesome win... Thought they were done when they went down 7 and started forcing 3s... Went back to penetrating and inside out game with Kante and got good looks again.

whoever my wife is on a work zoom with knows what happened, I'm all for more of these midday weekday games

Really? I didn't at all - I mean cactus their A10 Richmond announcers, not sure what you expected lol - they were EXTREMELY fair, complimented HU constantly, shouted out JM and Farrelly, knew the team well, I mean these guys were quite good IMO.

Man, what a W, SO glad I cleared the time to watch it! Kante was an absolute BEAST, he's been turning up the wick just in time for conf play - Cramer, man, kids a game changer, and Ray had his ups and downs but he sealed it like a leader should, proud of him.

Congrats to the team and to Farrelly for a huge road win against the 2nd best team on the schedule, a top 30 squad - not sure why I felt it, but noted a slightly better chance at an upset here than SBU - was hoping the previous games have been building up to this, and this team really came through - GREAT game and found a way to seal the win!

Like we all have said, when Green and Cramer get acclimated and produce, that's a huge game changer for this team. They make some newbie mistakes, but really starting to come around.

Once again, LOVE the way Farrelly is doing his thing - lead a real good game plan today - enjoy your well-earned holiday break fellas!!

Yes it is HUSID, this was a major quality win, perhaps the best of the CAA this year? I haven't followed the others super closely yet...

I can tell you this is going to send the Spider fans into a tizzy - they've already been up at arms about Mooney their HC and his probably extension - apparently some fans feel pretty strongly he is not deserving of such... this won't help!
