We've had years to work the connections with USA Lacrosse and they haven't paid off. Marc Riccio is an alum and former Pride Club officer, Danowoski was a former HU head coach when he coached Team USA and now Tierney. Unfortunately, I don't think we will see anything come from this.

USA Lacrosse has actually named new coaches for all five of its national teams.

Coach Tierney will lead the Men's Senior Team, which typically comprises professional players. Towson's Shawn Nadelen will head the Men's U20 (collegiate) Team and Yale's Andy Shay will lead the Men's Sixes Team. No surprise we are playing Yale tomorrow night.

Rounding out the appointments, BC's Acacia Walker-Weinstein will lead the Women's Senior Team and USC's Lindsey Munday will coach the Women's Sixes Team.
