Charleston ended on a 13-1 run to win 61-56. Charleston won with 6 points from Ante Brzovic, who averages 12.5, and 1 point from Ben Burnham, who averages 12.0. Charleston's Reyne Smith and Towson's Tyler Tejada tied for the most points with 16. Towson sub Messiah Jones led all players with 7 rebounds, which about doubled his average of 3.6. Charleston's CJ Fulton had 3 assists and was the only player on either team with more than 2.
Charleston's Kobe Rodgers led all players with 4 steals. Charleston's Charles Thompson led all players with 3 blocks. Towson had a bad ratio of 6 assists to 14 turnovers.

Stony Brook is starting Aaron Clarke (senior guard), Dean Noll (senior guard), Tyler Stephenson-Moore (senior guard), Andre Snoddy (sophomore guard, but in his third season), and Chris Maidoh (senior forward). In Snoddy's two games against us, he combined to get 24 rebounds.

I’m going to hold off on much of my thoughts so I don’t have a repeat of last years tirade - I vowed to be better.

I will just say I don’t want to hear not one more time from ANYONE how “great” of a coach Speedy is at this stage in his career.

Not just him of course, but he’s the head dog so it’s on him. Hofstra Basketball = The #1 Choking Program in the CAA. Where POY’s go to watch the NCAAT on tv.
