So we trounce LIU 13-5 after a 2 hour plus delay of the start of the game that was supposed to be played at LIU and wound up being played at HU. Mennella sisters combined for 6 goals and 3 assists and Melissa Sconone adds 3 goals and 2 assists. I'm assuming after this trouncing that LIU is not a good team. Correct??

We're 1-2 now after consecutive losses to USC 9-15 and Fairfield yesterday 9-12. Mennella sisters have been scoring but not all that much else after them. Comments??

team is not deep and in womens lacrosse you need to score between 12 to 15 goals to win games
The womens game is more offensive friendly than to mens game

After a loss to Army 11-18 we beat Wagner 17-2 and Marist 14-10. We played UCONN today who apparently is not that good coming in at 1-4 and lose 11-13. So we can beat bad teams but teams that have any upside seem to be too much for us. Just trying to keep women's lacrosse in the conversation.

So we're now 3-0 in the CAA after blowing out Elon 17-7. We're getting a lot of points from both Taylor Mennella and Melissa Sconone who's a graduate student transfer from N Carolina. Does anyone know what happened to Nikki Menella? Is she hurt again?

Unfortunately, Stonybrook is in a class by itself

So here's your answer Stu we blow out Towson yesterday 15-8 we're now 4-0 and 7-4 overall. Sconone and Walser lead the charge but Nikki is back and makes a major contribution in this game with 3 goals and 2 assists. This is great news for us and I wonder can we compete with that other Long Island team who's also 4-0 and 9-2 overall??

We get beat up by Rutgers yesterday 14-8 and were down 12-2 at the half. Clearly not competitive at this level.

We again dominate another CAA team yesterday and beat up on Monmouth 22-7 after leading 7-0 after the 1st quarter. Tomorrow we have to play Delaware and next week we come back to reality against S.B. WHO'S 6-0. Drexel tied with us at 5-0. If we win tomorrow is this a team who could finish in 2nd place in this league? I know we're looking good in a WEAK league.

So reality clicked in and we lost to Stony Brook 18-5
It was a no contest from start to finish
Shows you the gap between the best team in the CAA vs the second best team
we were ranked 51 and Stony Brook 13
biggest reason look at the OOC schedule
There is no comparison to the quality opponents. Stonybrook plays as opposed to the opponents played.

Yup embarrassing loss we were down 5-0 in the blink of an eye. We don't belong on the same field with this team but have made strides so far this year.
