I didn't realize it but Nelson had 46 blocks playing 21 minutes playing in 35 games. Very similar to Graham sophomore year at Elon.

is it me or on paper we could possibly have a better team?

I think it's hard to say we're better when we don't have a single player on the roster who's ever averaged 10 pts or 3 ast in a season before, and the only guy who's ever averaged over 5 reb did so 2 yrs ago.

But on paper we're certainly deeper, younger, and full of intriguing potential. And it's also the most local team I can remember in a good while, maybe some of that NY grit and toughness from the Knicks rubs off on them

With the Portal and NIL we will be in the same boat as just about everyone else.

Exactly - like everyone else a lot of unknowns.

But - I think, as previously stated, "on paper" we look OK.

How about we play a game first before we start saying how good this team is or how deep they are

Absolutely right Stu - We'll get enough pre-season hype from the athletic department and don't need to add to it.
