Tyler misses his third three and we foul a three point shooter. Awful!!

Dell'Orso is actually really good, was freshman of the year in Campbell's conference last season.

Nonetheless, so far nothing has changed. Hofstra is a lost, broken basketball team playing with absolutely no confidence right now. Tough to watch

I can't even watch this debacle down by 12 at the 8 minute mark wild three's taken by Robinson awful shots and with Sunday in the game whoever he's supposed to be guarding has hit wide open three's.

Agrred couldn't play worse if they tried. A lot of ball movement from Campbell and the same old O sets for us. C'Mon!!

OMG we haven't hit rock bottom yet Robinson chucking three's that aren't even close. Our O is Bad but our D just as bad down by 12 with 2 or so minutes in the half!

I wonder if Speedy's blind spot for Tyler has fractured the locker room or something? Just running out explanations for what happened to this team and why they are getting worse by the game

35-28 at the half after a three by Robinson. Pathetic!

Gonna be another game where Hofstra is a good -10 or more at the foul line. Just making things as hard as humanly possible on themselves

Campbell now beating Hofstra off the dribble every single trip. If Campbell was capable of making an open 3 Hofstra would still be down 10 and not barely winning here at the under 8 timeout

NO toughness. Consecutive trips Carlos and Dubar go up soft and miss layups, Dell'Orso makes his. Let's see if Hofstra can steal this in the last minute (what a pathetic sentence)

Missed jumper by Carlos to end the game. Shocking. He was only 1 for 12. This team is awful and the coaching is a large part of it.

Hofstra goes scoreless for the final 3:58, deserved to lose. Brutally slow start, and nothing left at the end to close it out after a furious comeback to start the 2nd half... where have we seen that before?

Carlos shoots 1-12, Hofstra only 6-11 at the line, -12 on made free throws for the game overall.

And the possessions in the final 30 seconds.... good looks but 2 quick 3s from Tyler only down 1, followed by letting KiJan almost run off the entire clock before Speedy took the timeout to set up final play with only 3 seconds left. And then that final play...Carlos, 1-11 to that point, off balance 1 legged runner going away from the basket across his body is the best you can draw up?!

This season is now a 5 alarm fire and officially on life support. Hofstra may not even wind up .500 in the league. The sample size is no longer small

This is why I suggested benching the starters to send a message for this game. Same old story. Can't keep playing with an early double-digit deficit. Today, it was 35-20 before they got serious.

It's only the fifth loss for Hofstra when allowing under 70 points with Speedy as the head coach (30-5).

The issues are running far deeper than just the slow starts now. If you take away Campbells two best players, the rest of their roster was 1-17 from 3, and almost all those shots were open 3s off good ball movement. Against even a remotely average opponent, Hofstra loses by 20+ today giving up a good 85 pts

Agreed, but without the bad starts, they'd be 3-1, maybe even 4-0, in CAA play, instead of 1-3 - which is everything right now.
