William & Mary's Gabe Dorsey made 6 threes in a 96-81 win hosting Maryland-Baltimore County (UMBC) to pass Thomas for the lead in threes made per game. The only game between the teams is us hosting on Thursday January 25. How many threes will the teams combine for?

As other schools play more games, Tyler's edge in some categories is slipping. Nevertheless, he still has the most 3PT (27) and is second in ppg, just 0.6 pts behind the leader, Denver's Tommy Bruner:

Thomas leads in points per game and threes per game. Bruner scored 14 last night, and W&M's Gabe Dorsey made 2 threes on Tuesday. I could see Bruner in person because he plays at Omaha on December 29. Last season Omaha's greatest margin of victory over a Division I team was hosting Denver, and Bruner scored 15.

Carlos is tied for ninth in assists per game.

We are tied for third in threes made per game, and thirteenth in three-point shooting.

W&M's Gabe Dorsey made 1 three yesterday. Thomas averages 4.9, and the second most is 4.0. Without playing, Carlos fell to 11th in assists per game, and he is tied for 80th in steals per game.

At this moment, Tyler is back in the lead in ppg with 25.0. Bruner is second with 23.6.

Tyler has fallen in other categories because we've played only 7 DI games, whiles others have played 8 or 9.

I think we would all sign off for wins over individual accolades so it was nice while it lasted but scoring 25 a game is not easy to do but better to be thinking team basketball and wins.

So Tyler #5 in PPG and PTS. He's also #2 in 3FG and #3 in FGM. Ironically, Duke Miles of High Point, a team we played, is #2 in FGM. Trey Calvin of Wright State, another team we played, is also in the top 10 in a couple of these categories.

https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/stats now has our players in all three statistics in the left column. The left column has the top five in points per game (Thomas is fifth), assists per game (Carlos is up to fifth), and threes made per game (Thomas is first). The other statistics on that page are rebounds, per game, blocks per game, and steals per game. Of the 30 listed, Thomas is the only player listed in more than one. We have players listed in three, and no other team has a player listed in more than one.

That is very cool, Evan. Thanks for finding that info. Our sports information dept. should tweet those stats out.

Thank you. I would like if I could make money working with sports statistics somewhere, but not in person.

https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/stats has top fives, and Thomas re-entered the top five in scoring in fifth. Oakland's Blake Lampman made 6 threes in an overtime loss last night to tie Thomas for the lead with 3.7 threes per game. It could be the second consecutive season in which the leader in threes per game was in his fifth season for the same school in Michigan in the Horizon League. Carlos is down to 17th in assists per game.
