Yeah but unfortunately we're beating some teams that are winless but 3-1 is clearly better then 1-3.

We lose to another "powerhouse" program Marist yesterday afternoon.
In all fairness,, their goalie did an outstanding job stopping numerous shots from point blank range.
We were down 5-2 after the first quarter got back to tying the game at the start of the fourth when Marist, THREE MEN UP got the go-ahead goal.
It was tied again at 10 apiece beflore Marist scored the winner and a second goal on an empty net.

It is a real shame how this program has fallen and what may be worse is how Hofstra doesn't seem to even acknowledge it or even give a damn.

Shout out to Hofstra MLAX alum Kevin Warne on securing his 100th win as a head coach by leading Georgetown to an OT upset of Notre Dame, last year's NCAAT champion and this year's #1 team:

It hasn't been easy for Warne to build his program, but the last few years have been good for the Hoyas.

Hofstra losses to Rutgers 13-8
Rutgers is ranked #16
We are still a work in progress
Hopefully we will be better in CAA play
on anther note I think the CAA will soon have to look into the play of Hamptons mens lacrosse team
They just lost to SBU 23-2
In fact in 6 games they have 29 goals and have given up 124
thats an average score of about 21-5

Hampton may be the only remaining win on the schedule Stu so please don't rub it in. I frankly think Cole is turning a blind eye on this mess for reasons i don't know.

Another L for the lacrosse program. Now 3 - 6 headed to 4 - 11 i suspect. Delaware 13 Hofstra 10. I seem to be the only one following the demise of this once proud program.

Like the women’s basketball program, we just have to let season play out and see what Rick Cole does in the off-season

Stu - Cole, Tierney and Metzger will do nothing. I'd rather the program, which dates to 1940's, be dropped rather than go through week upon week of humiliation.
