Women's basketball vs W&M 3/4

I personally forgot the women were playing since a lot of other sporting events happening for HU. So not a very fitting end to our last regular season game. When u look at the box score in the 1st quarter we score 5 and they score 21. We're down by 16 and for all intents and purposes this game is over or is it?? We come back in the 2nd quarter and outscore W&M 14-2. They score 2 points in a quarter this in and of itself would major defy logic. Impossible but so we go into the half feeling good about ourselves only down by 4 23-19. Great but if there was any doubts about the outcome of this game the 3rd quarter put that to rest as W&M outscore us 29-14. They score more points in the quarter then they scored in the first half(W&M). Scoring 29 points to our 14. Now without even knowing what went on in that quarter I would imagine that W&M must have hit quite a few 3 point shots. They hit 12 threes to our 2. Joke. Even scoring in the 4th quarter 17-17. Without wasting too much time on this debacle Awful shooting game for Sorelle who was coming off a career game scoring 1 point playing 26 minutes on 0-7 shooting. Emma scored 7 on 3-9 1-4 had 4 rebounds but turned the ball over 4X. Not acceptable!! Nice games for Thomas who maybe is back to her normal form scoring 7-16 and 9 boards 6-6 from the foul line 21 points kudos to Brandy and a very nice game for Swint scoring 15 points on 5-11 with 11 rebounds. Swint is getting hot at the right time of the year fingers crossed that our guards can pick up their games. 19 turnovers and only 6 assists. We rebounded well but gave up O rebounds. They scored 21 points off of our turnovers. BAD GAME!!
