Lacrosse has changed dramatically there are good players everywhere...most local kids don't want to stay local...that's a fact but it should not stop us from running a winning program...no excuses...we have the facilities, probably better than most...we should be better....sadly I think its time for a change.

Stu - Newsday is showing 5 to SBU and 5 to LIU. Richmond is now a heavy recruiter on LI it seems. Iona landed 1 (didn't know it even had a program), Pace 2, Towson 2, Tampa 2, and Quinnipiac 2, and Sienna 2. Hofstra 0. The problem seems deeper than recruiting.

I noted this last year when looking at the top 100 lacrosse players by Newsday that we had only signed one kid from Farmingdale and that was it. Shakeup this program, PLEASE!!

If you go to the program's twitter page there's a pic showing two players celebrating like it was a win. Then you read the fine print about the 8 goal loss. The program has morphed from bad to delusional. The sport's info people are even now slinging propaganda! I can't take it anymore.

Tierney he has absolutely crushed this program. You can’t ask for a further fall than what’s taken place to a once proud program. Unfortunate. I feel like Poser is pro sports, hopefully she has the fortitude and tenacity to deal with large program donors and make the right move for this program … this is bigger than the AD at this point.

HU men’s lacrosse is a perfect case study in what a colossal failure of leadership looks like. This is apathy, arrogance, corruptness, negligence, weakness, stupidity, and more all in one.

And fans making excuses for this program haven’t just buried their heads, they’ve put their entire body into the dirt.

There. Is. No. Excuse. Shameful.

ST will leave here as the coach who destroyed a program, deservedly so, BUT make no mistake, this isn’t just him. This is 100% HOFSTRA ATHLETICS fault just as much. They deserve equal blame.

They have proven they don’t care with inaction. Or they’re too stupid to figure out how to navigate the landscape that everyone else seems to have figured out. Neither is ok.

And no this isn’t just a P5 world now. HU getting owned by much lower programs for years. This program can’t even make the CAA tourney!! For YEARS now! That is beyond embarrassing.

That’s why I don’t support them. Hate it for the kids, and I definitely understand those that support for them. For me, I’ll support again when HU shows me I should. And not a minute sooner.

Hofstra lax gets a much needed win over Monmouth. 12-6. At this point I'll take it.

So Monmouth who's 0-3 in the conference at least we know we're not the worst team in the CAA.

And Hampton is worse than Monmouth. They are also 0-3
Hampton has lost to Stony Brook19-3
Lost to Drexel18-4
And today lost Delaware19-1
I sorry, but Hampton does not belong in the CAA

Thanks Stu for saying that but will echo it here right now. Hampton is becoming embarrassing and appears to be at least right now way out of their league.

Hey guys, Newsday just listed their top 100 softball players. One is coming to Hofstra, most don't have destinations and many are going to D 2 and 3.
