Women's Basketball

Congrats to the women's basketball team for bouncing back after the overtime loss to Central CT State and beating Fairfield 66-53. Elo Edeferioka has shown improvement over last year, and had a career high 22 points against CCSU. We also seem to have quite the stud in freshman Ashunae Durant. Against CCSU, she had 11 points 9 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block, 3 steals. Tonight she was the leading scorer with 16 points (6-6 on free throws), 5 rebounds, 3 assists and two steals. She's started both games so far. She is also ranked in the top 100 of her recruiting class. Coach K has said that she wouldn't be surprised to see her picture on the practice facility wall one day.
