I would assume the Knicks still hold his NBA rights.

I clicked on the link to the team, and he is not listed as one of five starters or five subs. They have Jared Sullinger, who was a star at Ohio State. In 2010-2011 he averaged 17.2 points and 10.2 rebounds, and the next season he averaged 17.5 points and 9.2 rebounds.

He's not in the starting lineup or second group. The last game he played was on the 21st but he only got 2 minutes.

Just happen to be flipping channels and I happened upon a game between the Westchester Knicks and the Windy city Bulls in the G league. JWF was on the court and had some nice moves to the basket. This wasn't one of his stellar games as he only had 6 points playing 12 minutes. He has played in 8 games and is averaging 19 minutes a game and scoring 10 per game. The W Knicks are 8-13 right now in the Eastern Conference. It was nice seeing him on the court brought back memories when he was doing his thing at the Mack.

I saw some of that game and the WK are awful. I believe they may have some injuries but Foreman was doing his thing and on the other team Jared Rhoden from Baldwin via Seton Hall was also having a pretty nice game. I think the Knicks were losing by 20-30 points in the first half. Defense in these games certainly seems to be optional.

JWF is off to Mexico City, making his next stop in the G League. Good time to join as that season is just getting started with JWF's new team and others having played only one game and others in the league having not yet played their season openers.

One of his teammates is Kenneth Faried (now 34), who led the nation in rebounding for Morehead State back in 2011 before making some noise with a few good seasons for the Denver Nuggets.

Just looking at some of the stats and last night he had 19 points playing 35 minutes in a win. He starts on this team and is averaging 18 points and almost 4 assists. The team is 7-2 right now. A perfect setting for him to shine.

So can't say I'm too familiar with the FIBA AmeriCup, but apparently JWF is on the team USA roster for qualifying. Looks like a mix of guys of his stature and a couple over the hill nba vets like Elfrid Payton and Michael Carter-Williams
