Coaches Caravan

https://www.facebook.com/events/281942685756245/ Looks like it could be an interesting event, if that's the sort of thing you're into.

Love it! Is great that athletic department is being proactive to try and engage community more, which will hopefully pay dividends with improved attendance.

Looks interesting. Was told this replaces the midnight madness event. Although I assume that will probably still exist as just a student only event.

It’s a start. At least it is off campus and in the community

I doubt it will replace Midnight Madness...very different type of event. I would hope it does not IMO.

Would like coaches caravan to be done a few times per year. One in the fall winter and spring

I'm sure if it's a success, it'll be expanded. But if it's like the "save Hofstra football" rally and six people show up, I'd expect one and done. I'm shooting for the one in the city.

Thats a bummer. Guess i wont be going then.

Do we think this is from lack of tickets sold?

The event went well. Bunch of coaches, Rick Cole Jr and other athletics office staff were there. They all made the rounds and tried to talk to everyone.

A few points made:

Cole and Mihalich spoke to the whole group with Cole mentioning that Rabinnowitz was key in deciding to upgrade the scoreboards and sound system.
Everyone I spoke with seems excited about the new scoreboards and sound system.
Cole mentioned they hope to do more of these get together's throughout the year.

Was a little underwhelmed with the food selection but other than that it was a great event.
