I do not see our French connection listed either.

So we now have (by my count) 11 players suiting up (10 scholarships and 1 walk-on).

One redshirt, and one sitting per transfer rules.

As most have already said, we have one remaining scholarship open.

Generally 2 deep at every position (with some guys able to play multiple spots.

Rok and Hunter at the 5
Angus and Truehart at the 4
Eli and MR at the 3
Justin and Ray at the 2
Wormley and DB at the 1

Seems like a reasonable mix of new blood and experience. Just gotta keep everyone healthy.

Glad to hear he's gone.. Got a free education, brought nothing to the table, so a total win for him.. Cant carry dead weight like that in the future. Wish him the best.

Wish Andre the best but the hand writing was on the wall. Shame, great size, athleticism, had tremendous potential but he didn't capitalize on it. If he's smart he will D2 where he can dominate for a year and maybe get an overseas deal after he graduates.

NOW I am starting to get fired up - Buie back, healthy, heavier, smarter, stronger, yes please I'll take that! I am also a fan of situational use of them both at the same time... could be a really interesting and effective attack at times

Those two are the key to HU's season. Their ability to create, dish, and lead will be the difference-maker. They have ALL the pieces around them - scorers, rebounders, defenders, size, athleticism, this team is ready - just needs the right play from it's generals!

Buie is 8 months post injury, so if there were no complications and he rehabbed diligently, he should be cleared to play without restrictions. Might take some time to regain the speed/explosiveness, but that should come.

Buie is listed as a junior. Does this mean he didn't get his medical redshirt? Or is it probably just a typo by the school?

I wondered that too. My guess is they list the class based on academic standing rather than eligibility.

Called the basketball office. They should clear it up by next Monday

Huge if he gets it for the program stability ... and he absolutely should.

For what it's worth, Andre Walker is transferring to D2 Virginia Union. He should be a high level player for them there, good chance for him to get a lot of playing time.

From what I hear that's correct.

Spoke with Stephen Gorchov. Desure Buie is listed by his academic class. He still has three years left his last year he will be listed as either a redshirt senior or grad student

Team has a chance to be nasty, this year and now beyond - get those bigs in here to solidify, and we could see some major success - just need the coaching staff to show they can work the talent they have to get the job done.

Roster is updated again, now includes the team photo and individuals of each players. Bios are also updated, and includes stats for those that played on the Canada trip.
