UFC Fight Night 7/22/17 featuring Weidman and Villante

2 Hofstra alums are featured in the UFC main card tomorrow night at Nassau Coliseum. Awesome for Chris Weidman and Gian Villante that they get to be in the spotlight right next door to their alma mater, especially since the sport only recently became legal in the state of New York. There should be a big Long Island contingent there.

So pumped for The All American.. He put on a show..
Don't care about Villante, he's a scrub.. He might have won the fight, but he didn't get the decision.

Good win for Weidman. Gastelum is a tough guy on the rise, and he dropped Chris at the end of the first. Luckily Weidman was able to use his size advantage to grind out the W. I was out of town on vacation, so bummed I missed that one at the Coliseum, the place looked electric!
