NY Yankees President joins Hofstra Board of Trustees

Yankees President Randy Levine is a Hofstra alum, and the university announced today that he is joining the board of trustees. I hope this will be a positive thing for athletics. Although he wasn't an athlete at HU, he's obviously interested in sports. The article mostly talks about his experience at the law school.

Can't hurt. We can use someone on the board who's a sports guy.

He is a baseball guy. Remember it is still Rabinowitz who decides where the money goes. Maybe he is looking for a Steinbrenner connection for donations to the medical school.

Hopefully Levine can use his business connections to raise money for school.
