What do we think? Is Rok ready to play? Can we sweep? The odds makers don't think so but they have it pretty close, 4-5 points is what I've seen. Love to get one in Beantown!

Northeastern a totally different team at home than on the road. Not to be a negative nelly but if we don't bring our A game this game could get ugly early

Made the trip with my mom up here to Boston. Anybody else come up? Also, do you know any fun attractions and good restaurants around Matthews arena?

Good stuff Jordan. Went to Matthews once, team caught a beating, but had a blast. Not sure of many places around the arena, but you're in Boston. Yelp is your friend up there, plenty of great places. Enjoy the game.

my guess is that Rok does not play. Seems logical that he would be ready for a Thursday game after the team not playing for 5 days. Don't think his situation changes much from a Thursday to Saturday.

Recall also that NE is playing without Jeremy Miller for that last 6-7 games. I Assume he is injured also. Maybe it a wash with Rok being out.

NU is not a great team this year, but well coached and they do have some talent, so when it clicks they can play well.

They seem to score around 70pts, so I would imagine if HU can shoot well enough to score 75 plus the odds are in their favor to steal a road W. Doubt Rok plays, or at least not much. Wouldn't be surprised to see them hold him until 100% for the CAAT and for next year.

Absolutely no reason to rush him back for this regular season.

Figure it will be like nearly every other game, a tight battle to the final minute! ROLLPRIDE

Both Rok and Miller in game - who would have guessed?

Rok looks rusty on offense but has 7 rebs in 7 minutes so far.

20 fouls called in the first 15 minutes, 10 on each team. This is ridiculous, just let them play.

This isn't even a game. Just foul after foul after foul

If I was the opposing team I would just foul Hofstra all game long.

In 2010-2011 (when Jenkins was a senior), Hofstra shot free throws .761, which is the CAA record.

Northeastern leads 35-33. Hofstra made 6 out of 11 three-pointers. T.J. Williams (12) and Wright-Foreman (11) are the double-digit scorers. Is Powers OK? He committed his second foul with 13:23 left in the first half. Taking him out then is understandable, but he didn't return in the first half.

7-16 free throws.... No excuse for that, at all. This a division 1 team, free throws are pretty basic, and they're unguarded. Maybe the entire team should try them underhand.

At the game and can confirm that the student section/crowd should be in no way a factor to affecting the free throw shooting. They are just simply missing crucial free throws in a relatively quiet crowd (at least they're quiet during free throws.) It's very hard to watch.

They seem very off tonight. And NE have JWF on lockdown for the most part. Not sure who is going to pull up for us tonight
