Who Remembers Jen Pawol?

I don't follow softball, so I can't say that I do. But Jen, a former Hofstra softball player, made MLB history when she became the first woman in 17 years to umpire an MLB spring training game last night when she called balls and strikes for the Nationals-Astros game in West Palm Beach. Her Hofstra coach, Bill Edwards, was in attendance:

She has been all over the national news...great story, most of the coverage did not mention Hofstra unfortunately.
