It's the bench that is killing us...Washington 6-3, Robinson 6-3 and the statue, Sunday.
Dubar playing big has mitigated it to some extent, but the roster has nowhere near enough size. It's not even as much pure height as it is strength and muscle. Our starting lineup doesn't have a single player that weighs more that 215. Charleston for example starts 3 guys at 220+. Towson has 6 or 7 guys in their rotation at 210+, and their 1 true starting guard is 6'4 200. Fritz was giving up 30 lbs to Monmouth's center. Even Stony Brook has 3 guys at over 220.

When you combine that with all the minutes our starters have to play, has to wear down the players over the course of a game

I was kind of hoping that this game was put into the rear view mirror after leaving a bad taste in our mouths. I don't think there is any question that in a lot of games our lack of overall size has hurt us especially when our back up players are small. If we had another 6'9 guy that could play and come in for Fritz that would be huge. I remember the game against Hampton we were getting pounded in the first half by a team that had a lot more height.

As far as just the Monmouth game getting hurt by their best scorer because of his height this doesn't make sense Rice being 6'3 190 was guarded by Tyler who's 6'3 200, Washington 6'4 190 and Plotnikov 6'6 197. We may have gotten hurt by Carlos on him but I don't know how often that happened in this game. You let this kid go to the line 13X after fouling him 3X shooting a three. I don't believe size was the issue here. The kid is a good player and can shoot.
