there is a huge gap between the power five teams and the mid majors
Now Nebraska is a good team, but they are not a top 25 team

Nebraska led 62-12 at halftime. They are 7-2, and their next largest margin of victory was 48. They only defeated non-Division I Dakota Wesleyan by 36 an in exhibition. 108 was their most points since a 113-58 win hosting North Carolina Central on November 20, 2021. They lost in the NCAA Tournament First Round that season, and won two games in the Women's NIT last season.

In professional (I don't know about NCAA) soccer, the gap between teams that play each other is also greater among women.
