The CAA shoots poorly. Of 32 conferences, the CAA is 30th in field goal percentage, 29th in three-point field goal percentage, and 26th in free throw percentage.

Yikes, if the conference is already at these levels now, imagine some of the rock fights we may see in D.C. next month as defensive intensity normally elevates and FG percentages and scoring usually drop in the CAA tourney.

Last year the CAA Tournament averaged 64.9 points, while CAA teams averaged 71.8 for the season including the postseason. That was a CAA Tournament drop of 6.9 points.
