Tyler Thomas Won Player of the Week, Teammates Consecutively
Tyler Thomas won CAA Player of the Week for the first time, and gives us four awards this season. It is the first time consecutive players of the week were teammates since Jalen Ray on December 28, 2020 and Isaac Kante on January 4, 2021. The time before that was Eli Pemberton on December 23, 2019 and Desure Buie on December 30, 2019. The time before that was Pemberton sharing it with Northeastern's Vasa Pusica on January 21, 2019 and Justin Wright-Foreman on January 28, 2019. The last time the players were not on Hofstra was Charleston's Joe Chealey sharing it with Elon's Tyler Seibring on February 5, 2018, and Charleston's Grant Riller sharing it with UNCW's Devontae Cacok on February 12, 2018.

Congrats to Tyler on a suberb week...showed he could put the team on his shoulders in Aaron's absence.

In reality when it comes to CAA stats TT has been almost as good as AE in every category with the exception of APG. He's scoring over 19 points a game Aaron 21 55% FG% to Aaron's 51% 3 point FG% 46% to Estrada's 36%. He has been a huge get for us and when you watch him play he's so smooth makes it look easy.

A much better shooter then Eli sorry but not as powerful and I don't think he has the leaping ability. Eli was a better FT shooter. This kid Thomas is silky smooth some of his shots barely touch the net.stuball888 wrote:A shorter version of Pemberton

I actually think Marshall could be a Pemberton type player. We have already compared him to Jenkins.stuball888 wrote:A shorter version of Pemberton
