Now here's some good news: two of our soccer players have been named the CAA's best scholar-athletes of 2021-22.
Midfielder Lucy Porter has been named CAA Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year and forward/midfielder Hendrik Hebbeker has been named CAA Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Lucy graduated summa cum laude last December with a 3.87 grade point average while majoring in community health with minors in neuroscience and psychology. She also plans to pursue a master's degree in nursing studies.

Hebbeker, a senior, has a 3.96 grade point average and is majoring in mathematics and physics.
