Condolences to the Bethea Family

Post by Jojogunne »

Before he started his post-game interview at Richmond today, Coach Farrelly extended his condolences to Zion Bethea and his family. Zion's father passed away suddenly last Friday. I'm sure we all join Coach Farrelly in expressing our sympathy to the Bethea family.

Just returning to the board now, so I hadn't seen this (was in the hospital for a week, returned home yesterday - no worries, I'm okay). Just wanted to echo the sentiments already expressed. So sad. May Zion's father's memory always be a blessing and may Zion and his family find comfort in good memories of Zion's dad. If we weren't already rooting for Zion on the court, this makes you want to so much more.

Ha, thanks Shadow! It has been fairly "Speedy" all things considered.

And thanks, Jojo, as well.

Doing much better now. Had gall stones which caused pancreatitis. Told I still need to have my gall bladder removed. But doing fine for now.

Happy 2021, all!

I saw YouTube videos of a 38-year-old woman who got her gall bladder removed. She was in the hospital the last night the clocks changed. It's a hard recovery. You can watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pea7PJLLlpA and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_cer-gAhhFY and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_EGwMFT1FIg if you want to find out. For a time she was in the hospital and could hardly respond.
