Who did Pecora develop?joeg1 wrote:Compromise elsewhere. Boar's Head.HUSID74 wrote:If there is anything about Joe and his staff they have not compromised on players. They only take guys they believe can play and succeed at Hofstra. I've got to believe this will be true for this class as well.
In all seriousness, I agree. Unfortunately, there has been a glaring deficiency in his/his staff's ability to develop well rounded big men- not an easy task. Personally, I think Pecora did a better job in this area. Should have gotten more out of Rok.

4 star or not, someone like that who is big, athletic, and can change shots would help out their defense immensely.

Impressed or not we would take him here in a heartbeat I'm sure. He would contest some shots in the paint and give us some scoring and have 4 years to develop!HUSID74 wrote:Kid has one offer, St. Peter's and was unranked by every other scouting group...not impressed
Re: MBB Recruits 2018
As much as I get on him for some in game decisions, JM has a pretty good sense as to who can play and who cannot.
I'd much rather play small (4 guards and a stretch 5) than get a big stiff out there who is a liability

Re: MBB Recruits 2018
Don't think much scoring is coming from this guy...looks very unpolished and would get pushed around. Might block some shots- probably would have a hard time staying on the courttriplec2195 wrote:Impressed or not we would take him here in a heartbeat I'm sure. Joe JAM has had hits and misses with his recruiting. Some misses that come to mind are Walker Wormley angus Ty Greer. Also we wasted a scholly on Djambo who never set foot on the court

Re: MBB Recruits 2018
I'll agree Greer a miss but Angus. Before he was hurt basically played at a level consistent with what he did his entire college career. As for Wormley played better the latter part of the season certainly the jurors out on him. There r people out there that didn't think Walker was ever developed right here and thought he could have made more of an impact. Everyone has their own opinion and a lot of people threw Buie under the bus including me until he was able to get out of the dog house in the latter part of the year. As for Djambo whatever happened with him not playing for personal reasons is not on Joe.stuball888 wrote:Joe JAM has had hits and misses with his recruiting. I hear we're going after a big man from Philly: Wilt de Stilt. Maybe we can make some inroads there.
