Looks like there is free streaming video. Am I right about that?

BTW Evan now that your crystal ball is working let us know what it shows versus Charleston??

Charleston is undefeated at home with their closest game being 80-76 over UNC Wilmington last night. A team that was undefeated at home didn't stop us from winning at Towson. Charleston has played a worse schedule. Hofstra and Charleston have 11 Division I wins each, but Charleston has only 2 wins against the Top 3 RPI Groups compared to 6 for Hofstra. Charleston had double-digit wins over Towson and Northeastern; but has home wins against Siena, Western Carolina, High Point, and UNC Wilmington by an average of 8.25, and those four teams are all in the bottom half of the RPI. They allowed 87 in a loss at Drexel. They're 4-4 against Division I teams when playing 3 or fewer days after their previous game compared to 7-4 for Hofstra.
Thanks for the perspective on the game and yes u make a valid point about them playing a weak OOC schedule. However I wonder how the matchups will shake out. We know they have good players in Chealey, Riller and Brantley. 17.6ppg,15.8 and 17.2. Will JM try to get ST to slow down Brantley and hopefully stay out of foul trouble and will their big guy Harris give ROK problems like he has in the past if my memory serves me well?? BTW I kind of missed what was going on at the game yesterday when ROK was "T" UP. Does anyone know what that was about??
I didn't realize that Brantley was that big at 6'7" and 250. I wonder what the game plan is going to be to stop him since the rest of the team is quite big. Meaning ROK down low on Harris and I guess ST trying to hold his own on Brantley. Brantley also shoots the three at 38.7% attempting 3.4 a game. This guy sounds like quite a handful that's why he's scoring 17.2 a game although a saving grace for us is they don't rebound well as a team. Keeping Brantley in check may be the key to this game and also keeping turnovers down.
PROJECTED COLLEGE OF CHARLESTON STARTERS

#12 Cameron Johnson, G, 6-4, 200, Sr. (8.9 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 1.7 apg, 32.9 min)

Hofstra has won 6 of their last 7 away games, and the 6-2 away record is tied for 16th out of 351 teams in away winning percentage. 5 of the 6 away wins are against teams with better RPIs than anybody Hofstra beat at home.

Based on a prior relationship when they recruited him? It certainly seems like they're doing him a big favor and it's not like he has good numbers??

I stream all CAA away games from gohofstra from my computer into my tv with an HDMI cable and have been doing this for years with pretty good results. I find sometimes I have to turn the volume down so not to have to listen to biased/bad broadcasters.

Drexel at Delaware was on SNY on January 11. Towson at Delaware will be on SNY on February 1 and Elon at Delaware will be on SNY on February 17, but I read one of those games will be delayed (I don't know which one). The TV is a simulcast of the internet, complete with ads for businesses in Delaware.

http://stats.statbroadcast.com/broadcas ... slive=hofs has statistics. College of Charleston is starting their usual starters of Grant Riller (sophomore guard), Jarrell Brantley (junior forward), Cameron Johnson (senior guard), Joe Chealey (senior guard), and Nick Harris (junior forward).

Hofstra is starting Wright-Foreman, Buie, Pemberton, Gustys, and Angus III. I don't know if Angus III is starting over Trueheart due to coach's decision or if Trueheart is unavailable.

HU with one of the best starts to a game in a long time. Up by double digits most of the 1st half. Up by 9 at the half. Lots of contribution from various guys.

Rok 2 for 2 hitting jumpers. A baseline shot from 10 ft and an 17 footer just pass the FT line :D :D

18 point lead now down to 6. Looks like the refs realized that the home team is losing, they're trying their best to fix that. Charleston's already in the bonus with more than 12 minutes to play.

Tied at 54 now. This is a disgrace. CofC on an 8-0 run, part of a 15-2 run. We are basically ice cold when we actually do get the ball.

If Gustys throws his hands behind his back one more time on a drive I’m going to lose it. How does Joe not get on him about this?

Charleston now has their first lead of the game, 61-60, of course the lead came off of free throws. I'm pretty much sick right now.

Well, as bad as the calls were in the second half, HU was just as bad.

As we have all seen, this is simply not a team that plays consistent ball. PERIOD.

Great first half - horrible second half. Absolutely no ball movement, poor defense, lots of missed FTs (53% in 2nd half).

This is surely the "you never know what you're gonna get team"

This was absolutely a game we should have won!

I'm not even upset with the team's performance in the 2nd half. How can a team win when they have 28 personal fouls called against them??? One phantom call after another. There was 1 possession where Gustys literally let the guy drive to the basket untouched and they still called the foul on him. What a joke. But we've seen this for years with these refs in this conference so I'm not surprised at all.
