He was dismissed from ODU in December for a violation of team rules. He went to Hargrave, which is where Keatts coached prior to Louisville. Usually to be dismissed, it's something fairly serious. A failed drug test of something of that sorts usually only results in a few games' suspension.

Northeastern, which had earlier won at UConn this season, won at Michigian State tonight, 81-73.

They also had a two-point win at Vermont, which beat Hofstra by 14 this season, and they earlier lost at Stony Brook, which Hofstra crushed by 38.

Pretty much standard for the CAA, in that nothing makes much sense, and who the heck knows when Northeastern plays Hofstra, or when any CAA team plays another this year.

Northeastern broke the CAA record by making 21 three-pointers. They made 14 out of 18 three-pointers in the first half and led Delaware 58-18 at halftime before winning 90-54.

Here's a comparison of some CAA Men's Basketball and Women's Basketball statistics including all games before today's Women's Tournament First Round:

Three-pointers attempted per game: Men 21.96, Women 17.99
Percent of filed goal attempts that were three-pointers: Men 0.3824, Women 0.3067
Field goals attempted per game: Women 58.66, Men 57.65
Turnovers per game: Men 12.04, Women 15.29
