Yep, 2 bigs, juco and frosh.

Also believe they are after a 3 or 4, and a 1. Not saying in the early period, just overall in this class.

This program needs a stud point times a billion.

That's good info. Cards but I wonder where we stand when the smoke clears. We're listed as one of the front runners by 24/7 sports. Anyone know what this kids stats r? Scorer, rebounder both??

He's from LI which probably means he won't come to Hofstra.

Marquette transfer Traci Carter is visiting Hofstra. He has visited NM State and of course Iona, the land of transfers.

If I remember he came to a game where there were less than 1,000 people in the stands. Not good showing off an empty arena.

Since it is old news, i will tell you what happened with him. Yes, he came to a game. When the national anthem was played, he was the only person at the Mack who remained in his seat with his hood covering his face. The athletic department and MBB program dropped him like a hot potato. I agree with them 100% - good decision.

I mean... ok, I guess.

He has zero track record of an ounce of bad character. Was good enough for MARQUETTE, and their fans were sorry to see him go. Had numerous quality programs after him during the transfer. LaSalle doesn't strike me as a shady program, and they brought him in happily.

Now, I'm NOT supportive of those actions, if they are even true, and I would take issue with it and address it with him for sure. But I'm just saying this smells funny.

Odds are this staff couldn't close on him because he took one look at the 50 fans in the arena and said hell with this. I was at the game. It was embarrassing, even by HU standards.

I don't think HU is in position to turn down 4 star talent in the POINT GUARD position no less when no other program seemed to have an issue with him.

Cards I’m with u big time on this. I hated watching this guy Jamaal Combs McDaniel years ago who was going to be the MVP of the Colonial. He clowned around during warmups and never played a second for Hofstra. I don’t care if these guys are All Americans I don’t want Thugs playing for my Alma Mater. It’s bad enough we have to watch professional football players that disrespect our country and all it stands for. Thanks Cards enough said about this!

Cards, curious, did you see this with your own eyes, or was this 'reported' via third party?

Not questioning you my friend, just very curious to the real story here.
