Haven't watched this yet but its a condensed version of the Hofstra vs Drexel game where Hofstra came back in the last two minutes or so. This link was posted by the CAA Sports facebook page and shared by the Hofstra Men's Basketball facebook page as well.

I subscribe to the CAA's YouTube channel, which is at https://www.youtube.com/user/CAASportsP ... ons/videos and this summer Hofstra Men's Basketball has had three condensed games posted.

Today American Sports Network (Fios Channel 820) replayed Hofstra vs. James Madison in the CAA Softball Tournament, and it will be replayed again tomorrow at 10:30 A.M.

There is a new podcast at link above with Doug Shanahan talking about his experience nearly making the Jets in 2002 that I highly recommend. Some incredible stories including how he at first practice Herm Edwards applauded him in front of whole team for bringing home gold with Team USA in the World Lacrosse Championships in Australia shortly before training camp. This is part I of a two-part podcast.

Former Knicks player Allan Houston was on campus today for summer camp. News 12 has a story on it tonight.

In some pretty cool news, looks like Bob Marley's granddaughter just started at Hofstra Law. Not every day that you see him tweeting about HU!

Above is link to a podcast with former Hofstra football player, Tom Ottaiano, on his efforts to make the 2011 New York Jets and the successful business he former with Hofstra football teammate Chaz Servino called Today's Business as well as his close relationship with Pats receiver Chris Hogan. He had great things to say about Dave Cohen and said he and his former Hofstra football teammates stay in close contact.

Looks like NYC Buckets is looking for people to cover the CAA/Hofstra this upcoming season. Anyone here interested? I definitely would be if I was local and could actually commit to going to games. https://twitter.com/nybuckets/status/905543477995474946

This was probably more fitting two years ago (though it may still apply now, and I hope Rok demonstrates that again this year), but nice to see Rok mentioned here, among the 15 least appreciated in college hoops:

Works for me... positive pub is always nice.

From Jon Rothstein:
Rokas Gustys, Hofstra: This guy craves glass like most Americans crave turkey on Thanksgiving. Gustys had two games last season with 23 or more rebounds and has averaged 12.1 rebounds or more in each of the past two years. If there’s a loose ball during a Hofstra game, there’s a good chance this kid is going to be all over it.
