Just announced: Hofstra wrestling alum Chris Weidman will defend his UFC middleweight title against #13 Vitor Belfort in Las Vegas on Dec. 6:

Weidman won a unanimous decision in a close five rounds vs. Lyoto Machida on July 5. Belfort outweighs weidman by 20 lbs.

New York is the only state that does not allow mixed martial arts. Could you imagine what a Weidman card would draw at MSG or Barclays?
