Very cool opportunity for Juan'ya-- will be a starting PG in Greece's top level league, playing against teams like Olympiacos and Panathinaikos. His team just got promoted to this level as of this upcoming season, so it's probably not going to contend this year-- However, he should get a lot of time/exposure.

Fun fact-- his new team's home gym held a capacity of only 500 people a game last season. They needed to upgrade it to a larger gym to move up to this top level, so it'll hold 1,100 now. This is compared to Panathinaikos, whose gym holds close to 20,000. Should be like Hofstra vs. Kentucky every time those two play...

If you think Hofstra gets low attendance, that team plays in a stadium with a capacity of 2,500 according to Wikipedia. In 2016-2017, they finished the regular season 7th out of 17. They lost the Quarterfinals 3-1 to the 2 seed who won the title.

http://basketball.usbasket.com/team/NCA ... 141?Page=4 lists the most recent team for 66 former Hofstra players. The list includes players who transferred away like Kanacevic and players who hardly played like Djambo (who didn't play at all), Mantas Leonavicius, and Eliel Gonzalez.

Green will play for Pyrinto Tampere of Finland, who was eighth out of ten teams with a 14-22 record.

Tanksley will play for Polpharma Starogard Gdanski of Poland, who was 7th out 17 teams with a 19-13 record. They lost their Quaterfinal series against the 2 seed (who won the title) 3 games to 1.

Bernardi will play for BK Nova Hut Ostrava of Czech Republic, who was last out of 12 teams with a 6-16 record in Stage One. In Stage Two, the top six played each other twice more and the bottom six played each other twice more. BK Nova Hut Ostrava went 7-3 in Stage Two to reach 13-19, which was 1 game behind the eighth and final playoff spot.

Surprisingly, the unofficial European basketball league rankings have Green playing in the worst league out of those three. Out of 21 leagues, Poland ranks 12th, Czech Republic ranks 13th, and Finland ranks 18th.
