The top ten seniors in the CAA are averaging 13.4 points. The top ten sophomores are averaging 14.9 points. Half of the top sixteen scorers are sophomores.
It's a big change from the past three seasons. Sophomores were two of the top eleven scorers in 2016-2017, one of the topen in 2015-2016, and one of the top thirteen in 2014-2015. The only senior in the top nine in the CAA in scoring is Joe Chealey, who's averaging 19.3 points, but with a horrible .345 field goal percentage.
