Should We Advocate To Get Men's Basketball on TV?

Post by EvanJ »

http://csnbbs.com/thread-830638.html has somebody say that the CAA does not have a TV deal and teams can make their own deals. Hofstra will have at least 3 out of conference games on TV. Last season Hofstra had 4 games on TV with 66 consecutive days without being on TV after playing Kentucky. Should we advocate to Hofstra and/or to regional sports networks to show games?

I think Hofstra literally has to pay to have their games broadcast, so I doubt it will happen in that case. Correct me if I'm wrong

If the question is do we want more TV games, then the answer would be YES.

When we had football it cost Hofstra 50grand per game. I think it was on fox sports. When the camera showed Hofstra on the football helmets. President Stuart said you can’t by that type of advertising
