Big game tonight against William and Mary, essentially a must-win if we want to 6 seed.
W&M fans on their board are talking like they smoked us at the Mack earlier this season. They only won because of a prayer shot. They're also talking trash about Mihalich, Powers, and Pemberton like the classy fans they are. They can say all they want about JAM as a coach, but the bottom line is he took us to a postseason tourney in year 2, and NIT in year 3. He's taken division 1 teams to the NCAA tournament. It took Shaver 7 years to take them to the NIT, which was his first postseason appearance with them. And we all know about their NCAA tournament history

I'm still at work so I unfortunately can't do video tonight, and have to rely on live stats. Figures the bozos at W&M can't even get them to work. Are they working for anyone?

Update: They just starting working, well over 5 minutes into the game. Shouldn't take that long to get basic technology to work. I guess you don't have to be smart to work there, just to get in as a student.

Nice first half. Bernardi shooting horrifically though. If he hits a few, we take a nice lead into the break.

Vegas gave us no respect and had us at 6.5 pt dogs, so to be tied at the half is nice.

Hofstra was down 9 at 14-5, went up 2, and now Hofstra leads 53-50. Daniel Dixon (20 points), Wright-Foreman (16), Powers (12), and Pemberton are in double-digits. Pemberton hasn't scored in over 10 minutes. Omar Prewitt and Greg Malinowski have 9 each. William & Mary has 12 turnovers and Hofstra has only 3.

Edit: William & Mary committed 6 fouls in the first 5:05 of the second half. Hofstra leads 57-52, which is their largest lead.

Edit: Dixon (25) and Wright-Foreman (19) lead their teams in scoring and have made 5 three-pointers each. Hofstra leads 65-63.
