Most satisfying win of the season. Great game of basketball! Always an enjoyable game when these 2 teams play each other. Great rivalry that has formed over the years, based purely on close, skilled games. I do feel bad for William and Mary though, Daniel Dixon didn't save the day for them today...

Sweetest part was ending that 12-0 at home streak they were on. Fun to give them and their fans a little heartbreaking dagger back, to end the season.

Haha, I don't!!! Love that we ran them off their home court!!!

We don't play a lick of D, but if we could drop 96 every game, we have a shot in Charleston!

JWF took the game over, and the Tribe looked like deer in the headlights watching it happen. He's like Speedy, with a perimeter game in his Sophomore year.

Probably the best win of the season. Great finish!

They need Northeastern to lose to still have a shot at the 6 seed... Huskies up 103-102 in 2nd OT, :27 left.

Don't worry only joking! A little sarcasm. I could not be more happy to watch this. I feel no mercy after the depressed car rides home he has given each one of us :D

First home loss of the season for William and Mary.

Per Jerry Beach, JWF had the first 35 point game for HU since Jenkins did against JMU on 1/24/11, and that was with OT. Anyone know when was the last time a player had that many in regulation?

Hate to be the downer to such a sweet and well deserved victory, but Northeastern just won in a very very very close ending...Is that the end to our hopes at the 6 seed? :|

Led for just 12:28 in a game in which they scored 96 points. Don't usually see two numbers like that go together.

Tough break with Northeastern pulling out a 105-104, 2OT win at Elon tonight. Guarantees Hofstra will play on Friday in Charleston, as they stay two back of Northeastern with only one to play. Two huge consecutive wins on the road though. If they can add one more at JMU on Saturday, that's the way to head to Charleston. Forget the last two home losses. They can focus on the road wins at the end for confidence to win in the tourney. Still a longshot, but winning at NU by 12, at W&M by 14 (when the Tribe was undefeated at home this year) and win or at least play well at JMU Sat, and that's as much confidence you can have for a lower seed going into a tourney like that.

On December 8, 2010 at Binghamton, Jenkins scored 40 points, of which 38 were in regulation.

For the second consecutive week, Hofstra was hurt by no foul being called on the last shot of the game. Tyler Seibring scored 30 for Elon, but he missed the final shot, and Northeastern won 105-104 in double overtime to prevent Hofstra from getting a bye. Bolden Brace, a freshman who was averaging 6.0 points per game, scored 40 for Northeastern. He tied the CAA record with 10 three-pointers, which he shares with two players on teams that left the CAA, Georgia State's R.J. Hunter and George Mason's Dre Smith (when he went 10-for-10). T.J. Williams had a triple-double and broke Northeastern's record for free throws made in a season. Elon had six players with at least 9 points and no more than 1 turnover. They had 18 assists and 3 turnovers. I wonder what the best assist/turnover ratio by a losing team is.

The first game of the CAA Tournament will be Hofstra (8) vs. Delaware (9). Hofstra would lose a two-way tiebreaker to James Madison based on record against Towson. Hofstra would win a head-to-head tiebreaker over Delaware, who is 2 games ahead of 10 seed Drexel.

It was the first time Hofstra made at least 80 percent of their free throws and at least 45 percent of their three-pointers in a CAA game since a 74-67 win at Northeastern on January 8, 2011.

Hofstra is on an 11 game streak of having no more than 12 turnovers. That's Hofstra's longest streak of having no more than 12 turnovers since a 15 game streak from January 5, 2011 through February 15, 2011.

CAA Tournament seeds:

UNC Wilmington 1
College of Charleston 2
Towson 3
Elon, William & Mary, and Northeastern can be 4, 5, and 6 in any order
James Madison 7
Hofstra 8
Delaware 9
Drexel 10

Congrats to Rok (15 boards tonight).

- Now has 910 career rebs.
- 4th in program history to reach 900.
- First Hofstra player to record 900 since David Taylor in 1982.
- 14th player in CAA history to reach 900.

Great win. Extremely satisfying to drill them at home.

JWF is special. I mean every game he continues to unleash the beast. Really loving his play this season, and can't wait to see him as a Junior next year. Does anyone think he can be CAA First team this year?

In regards to Joe M and his technical issues, enough is enough. He needs to curb his baby crap.

I like warriors.....I like intensity.....I'll take competitive fire any day !!!

Isn't it interesting that we got the calls down the stretch ? How and why do you think that happened ?

Luck ?.....NO
Good officiating ?.....NO

CAA officials make something like $2000 a game. Have you ever said they were worth it ? Have you ever seen any of them on TV ???
No, you haven't because they are the LAST picks to do a game. They stink !

Fire-up the cannons and bring it on !!! Players, coaches, fans.......COMPETE !!!

Never, ever, ever don't give 1000% !!!!

I dont know if this is the coaching staffs strategy or not but noticed something a little different the last couple of games. This team plays no or little defense for about 35 minutes. The last 5 minutes of the game they SEEM to pick up the intensity on D. When you have a great player they take over the game in the final minutes. Look at what JWF did similar to what Green did last year. Since JAM has such a short rotation maybe the theme is to save your energy for the last few minutes of the game then squeek out a win. If you have noticed I think most of the CAA coaches are doing the same except for UNCW who tries to get off to a fast start then hold on at the end.
