Its been a long time since I posted anything on this sight but I always enjoy reading all the posts. I'm far far away from being anywhere close to an expert on the game of college basketball but I've been a fan of HU basketball for many years (both good and bad). I just enjoy watching the game. My wife and I have been to a couple of home games this season and I try to watch away games on video or live stats. So far its been a enjoyable and fun season. I just want to throw my 2 cents worth concerning Hunter Sabety. Starting last year I kept telling my wife how I wish they would play this guy a lot more. Every time he is on the floor he brings so much energy. He is so much fun to watch. I know RG has a big following and seems to be a favorite but I find HS to be so much more athletic and has so much more energy. His dunks and blocks are so much fun to watch. He definitely brings a higher level of excitement to the game than RG and I just think he should get equal playing time. Just my thoughts.

Last season they led the America East with a 3,221 average. This season they're averaging 1,440 through 5 games.

Evan I️ call that the Wormley effect. Two years-ago they rode Jamal Wormley to the ncaas. The following year attended was up due to SBU success the year before. Last year they fell back quite a bit. Due to new coach coming in and they lost their two leading scorers. They had a young team. This year it is showing in the attendance. I️ think our best attendance was the year after our 26-5 season where we were snubbed for an NCAA bid

His name is Jameel Warney, not Jamal Wormley.

i went to the game with some friends (i live in suffolk county). that place at tip was worse than any of our home games over the last couple of years. im not sure there were 1000 people there. and it didnt get much better. me and my buddies thought like 1700 at most.
