and I would wager as someone else mentioned that the overall success and earning power of alumni are very similar, if not even with HU on top in some business cases in particular (also my world). Again, goes back to market location, it just opens so many doors and connections it's almost ridiculous...

No real argument to your points, understood and fair - BUT my comment and stance on the quality of HU as an athletic department is not just talking about basketball, it is the OVERALL PROGRAM - not knocking you, but I think you are overly focuse...

Yeah Coach Wade pretty much hired Rasheen for his NYC connections. I don't think the guys VCU and Hofstra recruit overlap as much as Hofstra and Manhattan compete so it might end up being a net win for Hofstra basketball that Rasheen is at VCU and not with the Jaspers.
